MEDICAL EQUIPMENT
All of our air ambulances are equipped for convalescent flight care up to critical and intensive medical, surgical and trauma care. Special equipment and supplies are stored at our base that houses our medical jets.
CREW & MANAGEMENT
Each patient is cared for by at least two, and often three, professional members of the flight medical team. The primary care team consists of a flight RN and a flight paramedic. Flight RNs have a minimum of 5 years of intensive, critical, and acute care experience in hospitals. Flight paramedics also have 5+ years of pre-hospital emergency care experience. When necessary, a physician, mid-level practitioner or respiratory therapist is added to the medical flight team.
Our Flight Nurse Manager has over 15 years of experience in air ambulance patient care. The Chief Flight Paramedic has more than 10 years of experience in air ambulance patient care. Our Medical Director is board certified in Emergency Medicine.
