Lear 35
If the air ambulance industry had designed its ideal plane, this would be it. The Learjet 35A is of optimal size for the crew and patients, has excellent range and fuel efficiency, and allows our team to transport patients quickly and cost effectively. Pilots have been using variations of this jet to complete around-the-world flights in record time. In 1976, American professional golfer, Arnold Palmer, used a Learjet to establish a new around-the-world record of 22,894 miles, completed in 57 hours, 25 minutes and 42 seconds. This jet is ideal for medium to long-range medical transports, with frequent, non-stop flights from West to East Coast and popular travel destinations, like Mexico and Canada.
King Air
As our most flown aircraft to date, having outsold all other comparable Turboprop planes combined, the King Air handles our short to medium-range transports. Its extremely dependable, proven platform for transporting patients makes it the ideal choice for flights along the Pacific Coast; from Central Mexico to the Northwestern US and Canada, as well the Rocky Mountain states. The King Air is able to perform well on a shorter runway, moreso than a normal jet, allowing teams to fly into smaller airports closer to a patient's location. This minimizes the amount of time the patient spends waiting at the site or in the hospital.
