Aeromedevac, Inc. acknowledges the
need for an air ambulance provider that is committed
to the delivery of compassionate and clinically superior
patient care during transport. Our mission is to provide
adult and pediatric patients with professional caring
and cost-effective fixed-wing and rotor-wing air transports
while maintaining high standards that are compliant with
regulatory agencies. We strive to meet this by being
an exclusive air ambulance provider while never compromising
the safety of our patients or our crews. |
Our corporate office is located
in San Diego, California with another base of operation
located in the rural desert communities where there are
limited resources within the community, diverse populations
and a significant need for rapid air transport to tertiary
care facilities located in larger metropolitan areas.
The bases are staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with
critical care and emergency experienced registered nurses
and paramedics that utilize standing air medical treatment
protocols. |
Our Medical Flight Crews are ready
to respond within minutes to any non-critical or critical
patient, including cardiac, respiratory, trauma, burn,
neurological, surgical, medical, and pediatric emergencies.
Our scope of care includes inter-facility and EMS transport
of the patients in the communities we serve, Mexico transports,
Shriner’s pediatric burn patient transports, longer
distance inter-facility transports, and medical standby
for special events. |
We utilize a fleet of multi-engine,
climate-controlled and pressurized aircraft and non-pressurized
rotor-wing specifically configured for providing critical
care and advanced life support, including state of the
art transport ventilators, infusion pumps, cardiac monitors,
noninvasive monitoring, and an expanded drug inventory. |
Constant changes in medicine and
technology require Medical Flight Crewmembers to maintain
competency. We provide initial ground school training,
including flight physiology, and annual continual education
to assure superior patient care. In addition, annual
educational opportunities for the Pilots, Mechanics,
and Communication Center staff are provided and supported.
Transportation of critical newly born, high-risk obstetrics,
and critical patients with cardiac-assist devices are
referred to Specialty Transport Teams. |
In summary, we take pride in being
committed to excellence by staying informed in the current
trends of transport medicine, software, and maintaining
proficiency in clinical skills, being active in the communities,
and promoting the safety of our patients and crewmembers. |
